Inukā
Inukā began with a name that didn't exist yet. A neologism marrying inu (to drink) and kā (fire, to be lit, to endure) — inu kā, the way a fire is kindled and tended, people gathering around it. Built for a kānuka charcoal lemonade developed through Hapī Ora, Napier's clean-kai co-op and eatery, the name carries the drink's kaupapa: not a product but a small, deliberate act of cultural continuity, funding the regeneration of kānuka across Hawke's Bay with every can sold.

Each batch invites a different artist to reinterpret the can. The first batch carried original packaging design and artwork; the second is a collaboration with Napier artist Leanne Culy, whose painting and ceramic practice draws directly from the natural landscape the drink is named for.
